Emergency Commission Post!

Hello! I'm Kippie, and I do artwork and in this post, I'm doing commissions! I'm currently living with my boyfriend (of 9 years!) and we're currently in a tight spot with money - he accidentally broke his phone, so we need some help raising some cash to get it replaced, since our next paychecks are in two weeks and a phone is rather important to have. Please consider hiring me to draw for you!! Here is what I can do with ease: ►Pokémon, furry characters and cartoony animals are all extremely easy for me to draw! ►I can design cute costumes or unique designs for characters that you want to humanize Here's what else I can draw: ►I can draw human characters well enough, though full bodies will usually be a bit more difficult to do. This is what I will charge extra to draw: ►NSFW or Nudity. Extra emphasis on accurate anatomy requires much more effort, let alone the mingling of two bodies. ►Mechanical detail. I can draw armor or solid pieces well enough, but nitty gritty, intimately detailed gears/gauges/nuts/bolts/etc is a lot harder for me to draw in any sort of timely manner or in a way that looks aesthetically good. WHAT I WILL NOT DRAW: ►Backgrounds! Right now, I don't have the time and energy to devote to background illustrations. Some minor floating bg details (a tree branch, soft sky, something simple) can get a pass but I won't be doing anything else. Sample Art and Pricing Rough Sketches: $5 Quick sketches that are rough, might have some gradient, but aren't cleaned up nicely. They won't be colored, they won't be shaded, they won't be given lineart - but they should be clear enough that you don't see the mannequin sketch layer. Tidy Sketches: $10 Cleaner lines, albeit sketchy. Splashes of color or colored linework. Colored Sketches: $20 Lines as clean as I can get them without doing meticulous lineart, full color with shading and highlighting. Monochrome: $25 Stark, clean linework and a choice few colors. No shading or highlighting for the most part, meant to have a cut-out look. Complete Artwork: $30 Clean linework, fine detailing, coloring, and a generally polished look. Payment Information In order to make sure I don't get overwhelmed and let everyone down by taking forever, I will only work on one order at a time. However, feel free to say the basic premise of what you want and what you want to pay ("I'd like so-and-so character, doing this, as a colored sketch for $20.") Here are the steps to order from me: 1. Comment here (anonymous commenting should be enabled, so anyone can comment) with your name, email and what you'd like to pay. 2. I will comment when I am ready to begin working on your order! You will then shortly thereafter receive an email from me asking for more details of what you want. 3. I will draw a sketch before receiving payment! This way we can work out any details and last-minute changes to payment before moving forward. 4. After you receive a sketch via email that you are satisfied with, send the appropriate payment to fancyfennekin@gmail.com on paypal as a gift. Comment on the thread on this post to inform me that the payment has been sent. 5. I will email you at every step of the process necessary. You will see sketches, color, and your purchased final product before it is finished. Once you're satisfied, the order thread will be screened. Here's what an order thread should look like. Are you willing to do an iconset and, if so, is the pricing the same for that (i.e. each icon would be a separate sketch for terms of cost)?

I ask this because, like, months ago, Vyc wanted me to ask you whether I could act as the go-between to update Sophie (of Luceti)'s iconset, since I commissioned you to do the icons way back when and Vyc's been continuing to use the journal post-Luceti, which means Sophie's gotten a fair bit older. But I am a procrastinator and I don't think you had commissions open at the time, so I never got around to asking. UNTIL NOW.

I can do an icon set, though trying to get them done in any timely manner will probably mean doing them in the Tidy Sketch format.

This is roughly what an icon set will end up looking like, with maybe eye color splashed in.

Awesome! So, would Tidy Sketch be $10 an icon? It may be a series of commissions over time due to income restraints (i.e. commission a couple of icons now, come back later when savings allow), but yeah. :|b

Because it's an icon set and because it's rather intensive, I'll be working on it between other commissions. I'll probably ultimately charge about $25-$30? I won't charge you $10 per icon just because it'll take quite a bit of time already and it is a bit too big to take up an actual slot. Is that fair to you?
